Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 June 2026
These Terms of Use set out the rules for using the Memona.app website, application, and related services. Memona is provided by "KERİMOV Aİ" LLC (Tax ID / VÖEN: 1309961051). By using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these terms.
About the service
Memona is a digital service that lets families collect memories about children, store photos, audio, and video recordings, create text and stories from those recordings, and share them with selected family members. The service's features are developed gradually and may change, be suspended, or be updated from time to time.
Key definitions
- Service — means Memona.app, the app, the website, server functions, storage, sharing, and related technical capabilities.
- User — a person who creates an account, joins via an invite link, or uses the service in any form.
- Content — the photos, audio, video, text, profile data added by the user, and materials created from them.
Account and age requirement
To create an account and add information about a child, you must be over 18 or be the child's parent, legal representative, guardian, or a family member authorized to add such information. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, protecting your means of access, and actions taken from your account. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
Invitations and family members
Memona may provide co-owner, participant, or invited memory-contributor roles so a child's memories can be shared within the family. You must carefully choose whom you invite and the level of access you grant them. Invite links, PIN codes, and sharing links may create access to content if passed to third parties.
Your content
You retain the rights to the content you add to the service. You grant Memona only a limited, non-exclusive, and transferable license to use it as necessary to provide the service, store, process, protect it in backup systems, convert it for technical purposes, display it, and share it with the people you choose. This license does not mean selling your content for advertising or using it for a separate commercial purpose.
You must only upload content you have the right to add. You must respect other people's privacy, copyright, image rights, and other lawful interests.
Unacceptable use
- adding unlawful, deceptive, offensive, violent, or exploitative content;
- violating the rights, safety, and privacy of children or other people;
- attempting to bypass the service's security, gain unauthorized access to systems, or spread malicious code;
- using another person's account, invitation, or data without authorization;
- using the service in a volume or manner that interferes with its normal operation.
If these rules are violated, we may delete content, restrict access, suspend the account, or take other measures provided by law.
AI processing
The service may automatically create transcriptions, titles, and story text from audio and video recordings. These texts are auxiliary in nature and may contain incorrect, incomplete, or contextually inappropriate wording. It is your responsibility to review and edit the generated texts before publishing, sharing, or storing them.
Sharing and public links
You can show memories to people you invite or through sharing links you create. Anyone with a sharing link can view that content. For this reason, share links only with people you trust, and revoke links you no longer need.
Payments and commercial terms
Currently, some parts of the service may be free or trial-based. If paid plans, additional storage, export, or other commercial features are offered in the future, the corresponding prices, payment rules, and cancellation terms will be stated separately.
Personal data
The collection, processing, storage, sharing, and deletion of personal data are explained in our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that you are also familiar with that policy.
Service availability and backups
We strive to provide the service reliably and without interruption, but interruptions may occur due to technical failures, planned maintenance, problems with third-party services, internet connectivity, or other reasons. Memona is not intended as the primary and sole archive for important family memories. We recommend keeping an additional copy of important content yourself.
Limitation of warranties
To the extent not prohibited by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will always operate without interruption, error-free, securely, or identically on all devices.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memona is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of data, or the actions of third parties arising from the use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to the terms
We may update these terms in connection with the development of the service, legal requirements, or security needs. When there are significant changes, we will try to notify you in the app, by email, or on the website. Continuing to use the service after the updated terms are published means you accept those terms.
Governing law
These terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Disputes will first be addressed through negotiation; if no agreement is reached, the matter may be submitted to the competent courts.
